On this day (4 February) the whole world stands still by the biggest illness of the last years. People all over the world are suffering from this crisis. Urgently asking and waiting for help. One in two of us will be diagnosed with this disease in our lifetime. One in six deaths is due to this. Today it’s world cancer day 2022.

Cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. ‘Close the Care Gap’ where inequities in cancer care costs lives, differences in location, and discrimination can affect you and your loved ones. The necessary measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic caused significant disruptions to cancer services, fewer people went to the hospital for diagnosis and hospitals had fewer possibilities for cancer treatment.

Today we would like to ask you to stand still for a moment to think about your loved ones and the ones you care about. To overcome this global disease together. In fun and sadness. In good and bad times. By empowering each other in every step of life.
